Costs for liveaboard

Liveaboard Charters set rate $120 pp pd
- All liveaboard trips take a maximum of 5 pax. Includes meals and hot (coffee and tea) drinks onboard.
- To confirm a booking we need a minimum of 2 pax. Then we will try to sell the available places, but if not, will still honour the booking of 2 people. Should you wish to charter the boat exclusively, a minimum payment of the value of 4 pax is requested.
- Diving-there is no diving off the boat but we can assist clients who want to dive by arranging a stop at Matemo island to dive with the divecentre of the resort on the island.
- Clients must bring their own snorkel gear (mask,snorkel and fins).
- The Quirimbas National Park charge a once off entrance fee of Mt 200 / $8 pp payable at your place of accommodation. Please get an official Park receipt and keep it as proof of payment.
- Beer, wine and softdrinks are carried on board and accounts for this are payable at the end of the trip. Guests are welcome to bring their own tipple of choice along but will be asked to pay for soft drinks used as mixers.
- Any accommodation or meals pre and post excursion are for the clients own account, as well as any meals ordered at a restaurant on shore during a trip. (for eg on Ibo island) Accom costs on Ibo range from $6 pp at the community run lodge Tiki Diri, $15 pp pn dormitory, $50 - $90 pn private room at Cinco Portas or Miti Miwire, to the more expensive boutique hotel option of Ibo Island Lodge. There are a few homestay options on the island and a small campsite. In Pemba there is a variety of accom options, depending on your taste and budget. Please refer to Getting to Ibo for options on transport to the island and accommodation which will help you make your booking.

Contact us with your dates, number of guests and as much detail as you can give us and we will help you to work out a plan and give you the relevant contacts. We cannot make LAM flight bookings.

During certain months, we do not take liveaboard bookings in advance and can only make definate plans once we have checked the weather. See Calendar page. When we are available imbetween liveaboard trips, we can conduct day trips with lunch and snorkeling, however we cannot confirm these in advance. If you are interested in the possibility of a day trip or a short liveaboard during off season times, please send us a mail with your dates, or contact us when you are in Pemba or on the island and we can advise on the availability and weather conditions.

DAY TRIPS -Usd 45 p/person.Includes stops for snorkeling and onboard lunch.Normally leaves at 9 am and returns by 16h00 depending on tides.
